Lazy Day Uniform

I can’t even begin to express my gratitude towards the overalls fad. There’s nothing like being able to wear something loose and comfy while still being right on trend. This summer, overalls and shortalls have been my go-to for lazy day strolls and lounging. Although fall is right around the corner, I thought I’d share a couple more warm weather looks before summer is all soaked up. Besides, in Charleston it won’t feel like fall until like December, probably.

Overalls and shortalls make outfit selection simple — all you need to think about is your top and your accessories. My usual lazy day uniform includes a comfy tee, tank, or in this case, crop top. I felt like the bustier style of the white eyelet crop top provided a good girlie contrast to the grungy vibe of the boyfriend shortalls. To finish off the outfit, I went with my bow crossbody bag, blue mirrored sunnies, tan & gold sandals, and gold jewelry. The casual yet chic feel of this look makes it perfect for a full day of summer activities — from farmer’s market mornings to drive-in movie nights.
