Taylor Swift’s 2021 Grammy’s Look for Less

Taylor Swift Grammy's dress

Guys, am I the only one still thinking about Taylor Swift and her Grammy’s dress?? ICYMI, the 63rd Grammy Awards were last night, and although they looked a bit different, the fashion was right on point. My absolute favorite look of the night was Taylor Swift, who wore the most stunning Oscar de la Renta dress from the fall 2021 collection that was just released a couple weeks ago. I can’t remember a time that I’ve ever wanted to actually purchase a dress seen on the red carpet, but last night I couldn’t resist researching this little number just for kicks. Turns out it’s currently available for preorder here, and will only set you back a cool $8,990! But since we always appreciate good deal around here, I combed the internet for the best dresses to give you a similar look for less.

So if you’re on the hunt for a floral frock to wear to your bridal events, baby shower, a spring/summer wedding, Easter, or any warm-weather outings on your calendar, I compiled numerous options below for every budget!

Taylor Swift Grammy's dress under $100

Under $100

Though nothing under $100 can *quite* compare to the intricacy of the designer version, it’s amazing how high end all of these look! The dresses from Pink Lily, Topshop, and Endless Rose are my favorites (and the $50 one might have even made it into my cart, hehe).

Taylor Swift Grammy's dress over $100

Over $100

These options are getting closer to the designer quality of Taylor Swift’s dress, but they still won’t set you back nearly as much as the real thing. After extensive research, I’d say the brands that specialize in very similar floral embroidery are Mac Duggal, Needle & Thread, and ML Monique Lhuillier. If you’d still like on these vibes at a lower price point, try checking resale sites like eBay and Poshmark!

Taylor Swift Grammy's dress available to rent

Available to rent

Hands down, the closest dupes I found to Taylor’s version were all on Rent the Runway — which is actually great news for our wallets! Being able to rent and return is probably more ideal for a wedding or event anyway, and then you also get to experience the designer textures and fabrics without dropping an entire paycheck (or two). There’s even a dress on there from actual Oscar de la Renta! How delusional would it be for me to manifest that the Taylor dress eventually becomes available to rent?!

Top it off

To finish off this look for less, Etsy has tons of beautiful embroidered masks that you can match with your dress (love these especially!), and these $36 heels are almost identical to Taylor’s $995 pair from Christian Louboutin.

Until we win the lottery and can afford the magical craftsmanship of last night’s showstopper, I’m loving our wallet-friendly options. Like all fashion trends, this will trickle down from the runway to more achievable brands, and I can’t wait to see those inspired designs!
