When I first came across these tights, I instantly thought of my Pinterest boards. There was a pin I had in mind that everyone and their mother has pinned & repinned — if you have an account on this addictive site, I’m sure you already know what I’m talking about. I quickly found the photo in question (below) and attempted to recreate the outfit for this week’s steal.
Thanks to Pinterest and whoever this well-dressed stranger is, arranging an outfit for this week’s steal was much easier than usual. Note: I usually try to make the entire SOTW outfit relatively inexpensive, but that is not the case this time.
First, I found a similar tweed mini skirt with dazzling light-catching threads for that lovely herringbone + tweed look. Next, although you can’t see the well-dressed stranger’s top half, I envisioned a chic black turtleneck tucked in to the mini. To top off the outfit, I chose some tall camel Frye boots and an olive Barbour jacket if it’s extra chilly. As for accessories, I picked black & gold Tory Burch Studs, a simple gold watch, a festive bow ring, and luxe burgundy nail lacquer.
